Meh sorry about leaving it so long between blogging. Life it’s self is a bit of a distraction at the minute. A friend of mine is having major surgery on his lungs/heart, and my Mother was in hospital last night getting tests done on her heart. So I’m a bit freaked out O_O
Other then that nothing much has been going on, I’ve just been doing college work and playing life like a game. Do just about the least you can get away with and see how it goes. College is over but I still have some work to do. I got the necessary grades to get into university, which is uber, but I have one more unit to complete by the beginning of august. It should of been done by the end of the college year, but I got so stressed about it all I was offered an extension as I’ve been off alot from illness. So it’s a relief.
I recently got another cold from a little Russian girl my Mom has been looking after while her Mother is at work. It’s a killer like. The girl’s so cute though. Turns out she might be staying with us for a while longer then we thought as her Mother has been put into hospital from Anorexia. She passed out from lack of eating, and since then Anastasia has been living with us on the evenings, and with a friend in the daytimes. She speaks little English but she seems to understand well enough. 3 year olds are so intelligent
We’ve taught her a few words, and also learnt a bit of Russian ourselves.. or rather learnt what certain words mean and what needs to happen. Like the one for toilet
The Yound People’s Panel that I was apart of for volunteering had it’s last meeting last week. Was kinda rubbish as I enjoyed the time I was there, but eh, everything comes to an end eventually. The volunteer worker is hoping to setup a new group with us as coordianators to develop a video about volunteering in our local area. We’ve been given questionaire’s to get people to complete about their experience and what they would like to get involved in. Once that’s done, I’ll be helping the leader complete some funding applications and hopefully that will be us on the start too it. Sounds pretty good to me
My Brother has also recently moved up to Scotland to live with Mom and I. After his 2 week holiday here with our younger sister, he told us he wanted to live here due to some problems he was having with his Dad and the family in England. After a few days it was sorted out and he’s now been here just over a week. So far so good. He’s a good laugh, little sarcastic (whole family is though really) but other then that he’s a good lad. Today I went out and got him some necessities as he’d left them down in England. He kept thanking me so much.. His Dad wouldn’t buy him anything down there as he said kid’s should earn their own money for things. By necessities I mean socks, pants, clothes in general.. toiletries. Why the hell should a 13 year old have to buy those kinda things? It’s absolutely ridiculous. He’s a child and should be allowed to be one for as long as possible. I’m not saying that he should be spoilt, but having to get a job just to buy clothes and toiletries that you NEED is disgusting.
